2026 Season · Presented by Transfix

One pick a week. One loss and you’re out.
Last one standing wins.

Freight Fantasy Football is a survivor pool that started in the freight world and is now open to anyone who wants to play. It’s free, it takes 30 seconds a week, and it has already put $26,200 behind truck drivers who’ve been sidelined by illness or injury.

The Real Scoreboard

$26,200

We set a $10,000 goal. The league more than doubled it.

Bragging rights are the prize. The point is the pot. Every dollar raised through this league goes to the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund, and Transfix has now committed its full $10,000 match on top of what players gave.

The Format

Survivor pool. Dead simple.

No draft. No waiver wire. No trades at 11pm on a Tuesday. You pick one NFL team to win each week, and that’s the whole game.

Step One

Sign Up Free

Drop your name, company and email below before entries lock on September 8. Jenni at Transfix will send you your invite link to join the league on Splash Sports.

Step Two

Pick One Winner

Each week, choose a single NFL team you think will win. You can’t reuse a team all season, so spend your best picks wisely.

Step Three

Survive

Your team wins, you advance. Your team loses, your season is over. Weekly rankings hit your inbox every Friday.

Step Four

Take The Trophy

The last player standing is crowned on Super Bowl Sunday, then the jersey and trophy get delivered.

House rules

  • One entry per person. Picks are due before the first kickoff of each NFL week.
  • Miss a pick and it counts as a loss, so set a reminder for Sunday morning.
  • A team can only be used once per season.
  • If everyone is eliminated in the same week, the last survivors split the title.
  • Open to everyone. If you want to play and support a great cause, you’re in.

Defending Champion

Somebody has to beat Ben.

Last season, Ben Smith of R+L Global outlasted the entire field to take home the inaugural Freight Fantasy Football trophy. He’s back to defend it. Statistically speaking, he probably won’t.

“Made up for my abysmal showings in my traditional fantasy leagues this year. I’m looking forward to defending the crown next year!”Ben Smith, R+L Global

What the winner gets

A custom jersey of your favorite NFL team and the Freight Fantasy Football championship trophy, both delivered on Super Bowl Sunday, plus a full season of undisputed bragging rights.

Why We Play

The St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund

When an over-the-road driver is taken off the road by illness or injury, the miles stop but the bills don’t. Since 2008, the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund has stepped in for those drivers and their families, covering the essentials and running free preventative health programs so fewer drivers end up needing help in the first place.

Questions

FAQ

Does it cost anything to play?

No. Entry is completely free. Donating is entirely optional. Transfix pledged to match the first $10,000 raised and that match has already been met, so every dollar you give now goes straight to the Fund.

Do I need to know anything about fantasy football?

Not a thing. There’s no draft and no roster. You pick one NFL team to win each week. That’s it.

Where do I actually make my picks?

On Splash Sports, which is the platform running the league. The form on this page is how we track signups. Once you sign up, Jenni at Transfix emails you an invite link, and you are officially in once you follow it and join the league there.

Who can enter?

Everyone. It started as a freight industry league, but it’s open to anyone who wants to play and support a great cause. Bring your coworkers, your customers and your college roommate.

What happens if I forget to make a pick?

A missed pick counts as a loss. We’ll send reminders, but set your own alarm too.

Where does the money actually go?

Every dollar goes to the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund, a 501(c)(3) that provides direct financial assistance to over-the-road drivers sidelined by illness or injury within the past year. Last season this league raised $4,900. This season the total sits at $26,200, which includes the full $10,000 Transfix match.

Can my company sponsor the league?

Yes. Tick the sponsorship box on the signup form and we’ll send the details, or email freightfantasyfootball@transfix.io directly.
